Mykhailo Syrota, First Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Judicial Policy, emphasized that deserved teacher´s salary is very important problem. "Educational officials for a long time had been working on the Law "On Education" adoption and were happy that it, particularly Article 57, guaranteed teacher´s salary on the level of average salary of industrial employees. Unfortunately, operation of this Article concerning salary is not realized in full measure", - People´s Deputy added.

The participants of the "Round table" expressed their concern over significant lag of integration processes rates, which creates a real risk of loss of educational and scientific school already in short-term outlook. Available educational resources are being exhausted very quickly and need considerable replenishment and renewal if crisis signs were taken into account.

Resolution defining "round table" participants´ key demands of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and Cabinet of Ministers has been adopted on the results of "Round Table" work. It provides for: "unconditional and complete realization of the Law "On Education" (Article 57); prevention of liberalization and privatization of national system of higher education; allocation of at least 10% of GDP for educational needs".
